So I woke up this morning around 9, got sidetracked by some TV show Connor was watching, and eventually started on my way to the doctor's office. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop at Panera before, so I was like OK, I'll do it on the way home. Well my car's been making this rattling noise the past couple of days. I wasn't terribly concerned, I even said to Caitlin yesterday, "Forget the rattle in my car, I'm more concerned about the one in my throat." Well, I have a virus in my throat that doesn't need treatment, but my car broke down today... It was real fun, I was driving down Inkster and the overheating light went on. I was like, aw shit right? I figured I'd go to the doctor's and then bring the car to the dealer. Then all of a sudden the engine light came on and the car was having trouble accelerating. I had to stop at a red llight at Inkster and 10 Mile, and it stalled. When I tried to restart it it was shaking violoently, so I put my hazard lights on and started crying...lol I didn't know what to do so I called my mom. She said she'd come get me. Luckily we both have cell phones so I could tell her where I was. While I was waiting for her a couple people asked if I was OK, and a nice cop came by and pushed me forward so I wasn't blocking traffic. Then I took her car to the doctor and she waited with mine for the towing guy. I have roadside assistance, which was awesome. I stopped at Starbucks on the way back to my car and when I was signing the towing papers I set my mocha on the hood of my car and it fell off and spilled everywhere...great day! The dealership isn't open today or tomorrow though, so I have to wait until Monday to figure out what's wrong with it. Fortunately my mom's on vacation so she can take me to work. We have to leave early today so I can bring Shannon the CD's I made for her. She made me some too, I think we both have four coming to us. Well I guess I should get ready for work...
